Recently I got a chance to talk to an awesome graphic Angelo Logan. Over the years I have seen some of his work ,and for those that don't know he designed Kendrick Lamar's Section 80 mixtape cover. I had a chance to sit down and interview him.

===>Tell us a bit about yourself & where you live...

Well, my name is Angelo Logan & I'm an 18 year-old kid of VA that likes to dabble in graphic design. Oh yeah, & I help run this cool media venture with a few friends called NoCause (nocauses.com).

===> How or what inspired you to get started?

Honestly, MySpace. I used to customize my layout a lot & just caught interest in design from that.

===> What have you achieved so far?

> Nothing worth bragging about just yet (lol), but I was blessed to do some work for Kendrick Lamar, ADD-2, & Phil Ade - which are three of my favorite rap artist at the moment. So yeah, that was pretty cool. My client base has really grown this year so I'd consider that an achievement.

===> Where do you get ideas & inspirations from?

> As cliche as it sounds: anywhere & everywhere. I'll be out somewhere & see a sign with a cool design & make a mental note of it to use for a future cover or something. Also, WEBSITES. Design galleries are by far the best way to gain design inspiration in my opinion.

===> Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

> Scary thought man (lol). Not sure just yet, honestly. Just gonna keep pushin' & see where this takes us.

===> Any big projects or plans?
> Definitely. Keep an eye for NoCauses.com. Pretty cool things on the rise...

===> Whats the best advice you have been given to be successful in this industry?

> Networking is key. Build as many connections as you can. And most of all, be sure to produce quality work. Don't suck, yo.

The Story up till now:

Things have been going badly for the COG from the first scene of the first game, but with the coalition having to sacrifice what was left of human civilization Gow3 is the most desperate of the trilogy. The infected Lambent and the tradition adversaries of the Locust it is as much a battle of survival as it is a quest to save the planet.

New Graphics:

The game feels like Gears, as it should, but it is polished and refined. The environments are brighter and more expansive than the dingy tunnels of previous, each location with a contextual importance that adds resonance to the main story and the importance of Delta Squad’s mission.

Campaign & Versus Multiplayer:

For the first few hours the most exciting thing you do may be picking up the ammo left behind after your corpse evaporated but given time it is much less awkward than it seems.

Versus mode has various parts like :(Team Deathmatch, King of the Kill, etc.) focuses not only on gun handling, but also agility and weapon choice. Due to the constitution of the characters you can enter into long dogfights which can be a bedlam of somersaults and shotgun shells.

Conclusion: Gow3 is not just your simple CrashBandicoop , it will be played for weeks to come. If you think that the game is an all nighter, jaw dropper heartfelt story, tear jerker, be ready for when download content is avaible.

How or what inspired you to get started with Muffin Boy Clothing?
I love animes, cartoon...characters and things that remind of childhood like Adventure Time, Thunder Cats, Street Sharks ,Afro Samurai, Ink Ninja and others

What made you come up with the name ‘Muffin Boy’ & does it have a meaning/story behind it?
MuffinBoy was my first breath of fresh air as I like to say to people Every Time I get asked this question. I feel like if you do something it should be a reflection of you, and MuffinBoy is a reflection of my personality, fun , random, weird and funny. I came up with the name because I said Hey everybody likes Muffins and the boy just attached itself.

What have you achieved so far with your company?
I started this Past Sept so it’s probably been 8 months now. We have accomplished a lot, from only having three apparel items, a polo, hoodie, t-shirt, to expanding into scarfs, hats, pins , .Our shirts & Pins and hats have been worn by Bands like Nappy Hair and FacetheDay. We have shipped orders out to Germany, Japan, Switerzland, Georgia, Florida, Peru, the UK, North Carolina and local areas. We have shipped pins to stars like Teyana Taylor, Lil Twist, Tyga, DiggySimmons, Yanga Jeiroh (the fashion designer), Leo Simmone and a couple others. We have more stars to send pins too.

Where do you get ideas & inspirations for your designs?
I get my inspiration from various places. I have friends that have jewelry lines, clothing lines, have made perfumes, just having people like that inspire me. Also from my imagination and things I watch on tv.

Where do you see Muffin Boy clothing in the next 5 years? Will it develop into many other things?
In the next 5 years I see Muffin Boy in a couple of boutiques around the world and locally. Will Muffin Boy develop into anything? I can tell you sooner or later we will branch away from t-shirts & get into more serious things.

Any big projects or plans for Muffin Boy?
We are trying to get more exposure, being in videos, photoshoots. Getting the brand out there, sending it to more stars and staying unique.

Whats the best advice you have been given to be successful in this industry?

The Best advice I have been given to be successful in this industry is Be the First, If you have an idea go for it, people will support you if your honest. Don’t spread hate, support your fellow human. Don’t want or wish for something some else has, unless your willing to work as hard to get it. A great friend of mine Great Scoot told me “ Turn your dreams, into reality, your reality into a salary.”

Recently I got a chance to sit down with Alexandra Burzum the designer of an awesum brand called WHATEVER WEAR. Such a bold name, with amazing Ukrainian-Russian style to their pieces. Having a chance to interview her was an amazing experience .

Interview Question:   Tell us your story?
   1-What's the biggest challenge of your job?
                               2-Where do you draw inspiration for your pieces ?
                               3-Your work is acknowledged by many and is in a few boutiques how does that make you feel?
                               4- Do you have any tips for future designers that want to have their own brands?

Alexandra Burzum : -

"    Whatever is an Ukrainian-Russian brand The brand was launched in 2010 by me and art-director Sheina Miretskaya. Design was always my passion, I just want to do what I think is right. For a lot of designers their reward is the walk down the runway, but for me it's about people wearing my stuff. I don`t want to put things in my collections that people couldn't wear and I love to work only with natural materials.

-    Inspiration for my pieces is art and architecture and mother-nature,of course. I like my things to be represented in boutiques, it means that people like to buy and wear my design. I admit I get impatient when I don't get results fast enough, but we are working on that.

-    To the future designers - if you believe it - you can achieve it.
      For me as a young designer it is an everyday mantra.

I'm using my art to point out certain things that has been going on in the world that people haven't really notice. For example events such as The Montauk Project, presidential issues also. In ERARE NYC, we reflect (hence the logo) on those events and bring them onto graphic tees.
